Mike Yeck Talks About The Opening Of Buck Season In Beaver County

For some Beaver County residents, their two favorite words at this time of year aren’t “Happy Thanksgiving”, “Merry Christmas”, or even “Happy Holidays”.

The words they love to hear most is “hunting season”.

In lieu of the hunters rising early to harvest bucks and doe for the 2019 season, Beaver County Game Warden Mike Yeck joined Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County to talk about the basic things one may need to know when it comes to hunting, such as the laws and regulations one must follow when shooting and harvesting, general advice about gun safety, the issue with diseased deer and what to do with them, and the current issue with when (and when not) to hunt in Pennsylvania.

If you’d like more information on buck/doe hunting in Beaver County, the Southwest Region can be contacted at (724) 238-9523, and their website is pgc.pa.gov.

It’s beginning to look a lot like…well, you know.

The holiday season is already being celebrated by many, but the full-swing embrace to Christmas comes this weekend following Thanksgiving. A major part of that in Beaver County will be the 2nd Annual Beaver Falls Winterfest taking place beginning at 2 PM at the parklet by the Carnegie Free Library, culminating with the lighted holiday parade set to kick off at 6 PM. Dr. Cyril Wecht Talks JFK, Epstein, And Upcoming Lincoln Park Show On A.M. Beaver County

Much has changed in America since 1963. Dr. Cyril Wecht’s skepticism towards the results of the John F. Kennedy assassination…is not one of those changing things.

The famed pathologist is heading back to Lincoln Park for “An Evening Of Pathological Discussion With Dr. Cyril Wecht” on November 26, a follow-up to his successful May show that dug into many of the infamous death cases that have disturbed Americans for decades. This newest show will take that same route, as he and co-host John McIntire will run the gambit from JFK to JonBenet starting at 7:30. More information about the show can be found here.

Dr. Wecht previewed his show with Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County on November 21, one day before the 56th Anniversary of the JFK assassination. Wecht spoke about his feelings that there were multiple shooters involved with the murder, and about what the country would have looked like if the acts against John and Robert Kennedy hadn’t occurred.

The two also spoke about the recent “suicide” of financier Jeffrey Epstein, how science disproves the initial outcome, and how the expansion of skepticism in murder cases has grown since the days of the Kennedys.
