Medical Helicopter Called To Motorcycle, Vehicle Crash In Leetsdale
A medical helicopter was called to the scene of a crash between a motorcycle and a vehicle in Leetsdale on Sunday afternoon. It happened shortly after 1 p-m on Route 65 near the Quaker Valley Shopping Center. Police say the motorcyclist ran a red light and struck a vehicle making a turn through a green light. The motorcyclist was flown to UPMC Presbyterian. No word on the victim’s name or condition.
Winner’s announced for Peter Pan-Dancing Thru Neverland Give Away
WBVP and WMBA in cooperation with Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center registered listeners to win a Family 4 pack of tickets to see Peter Pan Dancing thru Neverland this weekend. This is the final weekend of the show at Lincoln Park. The listeners called in answers to Peter Pan Trivia to register on both A.M. Beaver County and Teleforum on Friday May5, 2017. Pat Septak then announced the four winners of the tickets on the entertainment portion of the Noonday report. We would like to thank everyone who joined in on the fun of the contest. Breaking News!!!!!! Crosby full participant in practice today
Sidney Crosby and Conor Sheary returned to the ice for a second straight day today at the UPMC66 Training Facility in Cranberry today. after suffering concussions during Game 3 against the Washington Capitals.
Both were wearing normal jerseys, rather than a no-contact version.
Crosby and Sheary also took part in normal line rushes during the Penguins’ practice. Crosby was centering Jake Guentzel and Patric Hornqvist, while Sheary was alongside Nick Bonino and Bryan Rust. Crosby said he feels good after practice today and Sheary will be a game time decision

Pittsburgh Penguins’ captain Sidney Crosby skated in full gear this morning at the team’s practice facility in Cranberry, Head coach Mike Sullivan told reporters in a conference call as it was reported on the Pens website today.
There was no formal practice this morning, but Crosby was on the ice alongside Conor Sheary and Carl Hagelin. Sullivan said that Crosby skated and is in the rehab process, referring to his status as “day-to-day.” Sullivan did not say what Crosby’s availability for Game 5 of the Second Round series of the Stanley Cup Play-offs will be Saturday night at Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., saying only, “It’s a day-to-day process and we’re taking each day as it comes.”
