VIDEO: United Way Of Beaver County To Hold 7th Annual Recognition Dinner On June 9

The United Way of Beaver County will be celebrating another year of excellence in charity and hard work with their 7th Annual Recognition Dinner on Thursday, June 9 at the Club at Shadow Lakes in Aliquippa. The event begins at 6:00 PM and will recognize some of the top contributing organizations over the last year.

Director Mike Rubino joined Matt Drzik on the May 18 edition of A.M. Beaver County to discuss the annual celebration, which is returning to early June after having been postponed until September during 2021. “Last year, over 100,000 people by United Way dollars in Beaver County,” Rubino said. “And that’s because of the generosity of our resdients.”

The awards will recognize several organizations who have managed to remain poised to fulfill their selfless missions throughout the last year, including the Cornerstone of Beaver County, Gateway Rehabilitation Center, and Styropek. There will also be the revealing of the final total for the Matching Grant campaign–a campaign that is still running through the end of May. Donations can be made by going to the United Way of Beaver County website.
