Come rain or come shine, just please stay inside…the Beaver County Office On Aging will be presenting another Senior Day At The Mall in a drive-thru setting on May 12 from 10 until noon at the Beaver Valley Mall, located in the lot between Boscov’s and Harbor Freight.

Angela Gentile of the BCOA joined Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County to discuss this spring’s event, which comes at a time in which many seniors might be confused and wondering what financial or beneficial situations are approaching deadlines and which situations continue to have flexibility due to the circumstances of the last 14+ months. Angela talked about how many vendors that would typically have their own booths at the Senior Day when it was located inside the mall are presenting that kind of information to seniors who attend this drive-thru event on Wednesday.

Of course, there’s not just information in the bags. Gentile also mentioned that each bag will contain a securely wrapped donut along with a boxed lunch, and that several members from the Office On Aging will be in attendance to assist in bringing the bags to your car. The BCOA is asking those who are coming to the drive-thru to wait until the event begins at 10:00 AM, and to be patient as traffic may build up during the morning in the mall parking lot.
