New name, same assistance.
PA MEDI, formerly the Apprise program, is being offered once again by the Beaver County Office On Aging starting on October 15, running through the end of Medicare open enrollment on December 7. New plans and renewals will then begin in earnest on January 1, 2022.
The coordinator for PA MEDI for the BCOA, Joanne McDermitt, joined Matt Drzik to talk about the new season for open enrollment on A.M. Beaver County. She spoke about how to enroll, how anyone from out-of-state can change plans, what plans are covered in Medicare enrollment, and what one may do if they decide to obtain or rescind an Advantage Plan.
