Stacey Ivol and Shirley Pow from the Beaver Heritage Foundation appeared on Teleforum with Frank Sparks Wednesday September 13, 2017. Stacey and Shirley told Frank and the listeners about the Beaver Heritage Foundation and the many things they do in Beaver. The revamping of the train station and how it is now a multi use facility hosting events such as weddings, parties, and even a Granati Brothers concert. Shirley told the listeners that the train station is open to anyone to rent for their events and the cost is very reasonable. Stacey informed the listeners of the museum beside the train station that she runs and the many displays that appear their throughout the year. The museum isn’t just for displays there are speakers also throughout the year. The main reason for the ladies visit was the topic of Beaver Tales that is coming up on September 22, 2017. Shirley told the listeners that they have story tellers come from around the world come in and tell stories at the gazebo in downtown Beaver. There will be four story tellers to entertain you if you decide to go.  Beaver Tales starts at 7 p.m. and is free to the public all you have to do is bring a lawn chair and maybe a blanket to stay warm.  Some local organizations will be selling popcorn and water but you are welcome to bring your own snacks and enjoy a great evening of story telling.  If you would like more information you can   Call: 724-775-7174.
