Beaver County Commissioner Tony Amadio flew solo as Commission Chair Dan Camp was tied up in a meeting and Commissioner Sandie Egley was unavailable. The main topic was where is the reassessment appeal at and if there is a plan in place if the Supreme Court finds in favor of Chuck Betters and previous judges rulings. Tony explained that once a decision is reached the commissioners will then take appropriate action and move forward. Some listeners who called into the show told Amadio of their displeasure with the reassessment and Tony assured them that the Board of Commissioners has been against this from the beginning. Tony explained the process during a reassessment and explained how it will effect property owners once a reassessment is completed if the county losses its case. One caller ask Amadio about Commissioner Egley’s recent comments about corruption in Beaver County Government. Tony said that he hasn’t seen any corruption and no one has given him any specific examples of corruption and therefore he doesn’t feel there is corruption.
