(Dallas, TX) Sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the Pittsburgh Steelers traded offensive tackle Broderick Jones to the Dallas Cowboys.

Sources confirmed to ESPN’s Todd Archer that along with Jones, the Cowboys will also receive a 2027 fourth-round pick while the Steelers will receive a 2027 third round pick and a 2027 sixth-round pick.

Jones was drafted by the Steelers as the 14th overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft out of Georgia and played 45 games in three seasons with the Steelers.

The Steelers also traded running back and 2025 third round pick Kaleb Johnson to the Green Bay Packers yesterday.

Johnson was a rookie last year who was drafted out of the University of Iowa.

The Steelers also recently finalized their 53-man roster for the 2026-2027 season, and cuts included linebacker Elandon Roberts, who was traded back to the Steelers after playing for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2025.

Roberts played for the Steelers from 2023-2024.
