(Pittsburgh, PA) According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Pittsburgh Steelers signed linebacker Jacoby Windmon. The signing occurred yesterday and over the last two seasons with the Carolina Panthers, Windmon has appeared in nine games, earning 22 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He spent the 2026 season with the UFL’s Columbus Aviators and had 3.5 sacks. In 2025, Windmon spent a brief period on the Steelers’ practice squad, signing with the team on October 8th before he was eventually released on October 28th. He had another brief stint in Pittsburgh in October of 2024 and signed on the team’s practice squad before he was acquired by the Panthers. Windmon totaled 233 tackles and 27 sacks in 41 college football games with Michigan State and UNLV.
