(Pittsburgh, PA) The Pittsburgh Steelers placed safety DeShon Elliott on the injured reserve on Sunday.

Elliott will miss at least the first four games of the 2026-2027 NFL season.

Elliott, who signed a two-year extension in June of 2025 with the Steelers that keeps him under contract through 2027, suffered a significant leg injury in 2025’s Week 8 against the Green Bay Packers and missed the rest of the 2025 NFL season.
