(Beaver County, PA) A woman is now facing multiple charges after officials said she physically abused her 3-month-old child in Beaver County.
According to a criminal complaint, police were recently called to a county hospital, where a 3-month-old child was found suffering from brain bleeds and other signs of serious brain injury.
The complaint also stated that the child was previously recommended by physical care physicians to go to that hospital after showing flu-like symptoms.
Child and youth services later contacted the child’s mother, Harley Seaburn, who said on two separate occasions that she was intoxicated and violently threw the baby onto a bed, which caused the child’s head to “bounce.”
She confirmed that the two separate occasions occurred three weeks apart.
Seaburn is being held in the Beaver County Jail and is facing multiple aggravated assault and child endangerment charges.
