Winning Powerball Ticket sold in Forest Hills

Someone who played Powerball at a Forest Hills convenience store is now holding a winning ticket worth $1 million.

Pennsylvania Lottery officials said that a winning Powerball ticket from Saturday’s drawing was sold at Stop & Shop on Ardmore Boulevard in Forest Hills. The ticket, worth $1 Million matched all five white balls but not the red Powerball.

The ticketholder, who’s name is not known yet, has one year to come forward and claim the prize.

The store will get a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
