(Beaver County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver reported on Friday that twenty-six-year-old Chance Watkins of Fairmont, West Virginia was charged after a crash occurred in Beaver County on Wednesday.
This happened in Hanover Township at 4:43 a.m. Watkins was driving on State Route 168 near the intersection with Ridge Road and fell asleep behind the wheel.
After he failed to maintain control of his vehicle, he hit a power line with his vehicle and the power line fell, blocking the road.
Watkins escaped the scene, and after he left, forty-year-old Timothy Cashdollar of Chester, West Virginia was driving on State Route 168 and drove over the power pole even though he tried to avoid it and failed.
There were no reported injuries.
