In a game heard on WBVP, WMBA and The New 99.3 FM it was the WPIAL 1A Championship game featuring Vincentian Academy and Cornell played at the Peterson Event Center at the University of Pittsburgh.  It was a game that was back and fourth early, but Vincentian used a run late in the first half to build a halftime lead of 34-25. Then it was mostly Vincentian in the second half building a big lead and never looking back and went on to win the 1A Championship by a final of 63-51. For Cornell their season isn’t over as they will play in the PIAA State Tournament which starts next week.
