(Beaver County, PA) A district judge acquitted a woman who was charged with disorderly conduct after an altercation occurred in Cranberry Township, where she reported being punched in the mouth by a local contractor.
Charles Little is the contractor who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and he is now facing additional charges that are connected to separate driving incidents.
Whitney Hughley came forward with details of the confrontation that happened in February of this year after noticing a social media video of a truck that carried the same company logo trying to force motorcycles off a road in Beaver County.
Hughley was driving to a bookstore in Cranberry Township when a white pickup truck that beared a company logo came speeding up behind her in the turning lane.
According to Hughley, the driver maneuvered aggressively alongside her vehicle before both drivers pulled into a nearby parking lot.
After she parked near a bookstore, Hughley confirmed that the driver parked near a bank and rapidly approached her.
Hughley admitted that she pushed the man away after he entered her personal space, and at that point, he punched her in the mouth.
Cranberry Township Police initially cited both Little and Hughley for disorderly conduct, engaging in fighting.
However, a district judge acquitted Hughley, reprimanded the citing officer and expunged Hughley’s record.
WPXI’s 11 Investigates reported that Little, the owner of C.E. Little Contracting, has accumulated at least 24 traffic convictions over the past five years.
