(Brighton Township, PA) Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department, Station 63, responded at 4:01 a.m. today for a motor vehicle accident after a vehicle struck a deer in Brighton Township.

The vehicle came to rest off the road and the operator of the vehicle was evaluated by EMS.

That person did not sustain any injuries.

Firefighters stayed on location helping with both scene safety and traffic control until the Pennsylvania State Police completed their investigation into this incident.

Drivers need to look out for deer, especially during the early hours of the morning and evening, as the days become shorter and wildlife becomes more active.
