Tyrone Zeigler Provides Updates On Tigerland Wave Pool

(Matt Drzik/Beaver County Radio)

Patience remains a virtue with Tyrone Zeigler.

The man behind the Tigerland Wave Pool project joined Matt Drzik on the April 21 edition of A.M. Beaver County to provide the latest updates in the ongoing process. A public meeting regarding the feasibility study was held several weeks ago, but according to Zeigler the attendance “wasn’t what I expected”–indicating he had hoped more of the city’s residents would attend.

On a more positive note, Zeigler did make note that Tigerland Inc. LLC did receive its non-profit status, and the next major move for the project will be to secure the property where the Wave Pool once operated, just a block or so south of Wallace Run Road. The project now enters its sixth year of preliminary process, but Zeigler isn’t letting the frustrations get to him: “It’s God’s plan. Can’t rush this.”
