Tower of Voices

The dedication of the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, PA was held on Sunday. The 93 foot tall Tower of Voices contains 40 wind chimes representing the 40 people that died in the crash of Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. Passengers fought back after the now-famous “Let’s Roll” was uttered and the terrorists then crashed the jetliner in a field.
There will be a “Let’s Roll” Remembering 9-11 program held in Irvine Park at the Gazebo in Beaver tomorrow at 5PM that will include a time to honor all first responders in Beaver County as well as a community picnic and entertainment.
