Susquehanna’s Request For $30,000 Granted By Commissioners

The Susquehanna Consulting Firm, brought in to help facilitate the County’s Finances after the firing of Ricardo Luckow earlier this year, was granted a $30,000 cap extension from the Beaver County Commissioners during Thursday’s Public Session. The Commissioners approved with a vote of 2-1:

 

Commissioner Sandie Egley was the lone vote to abstain on several measures in relation to the approval, which also allows for Susquehanna to conduct a search for a financial advisor.

Also approved at the meeting was the retention of Pittsburgh attorney John McCreary in association with labor and union disputes. Commissioners Dan Camp and Tony Amadio again voted yes, and again Sandie Egley abstained. Egley’s reasoning was brief and blunt:

 

The meeting lasted a brief 15 minutes, with Pastor Tom Stein from Chapel Presbyterian in Beaver leading with an invocation.
