Local State Representatives say they want to set the record straight. That’s why several area lawmakers – including Rep. Jim Christiana – say they plan to speak today in opposition to Governor Tom Wolf’s proposed massive tax increases. Christiana told Beaver County Radio newsman Pat Septak just before beginning his news conference that they planned to discuss enacting what they call a fiscally responsible state spending plan without unnecessary new taxes or borrowing.
