Sheldon Jeter Jr’s Trial Continues In Beaver County Court

(Beaver, Pa.) The Trial for Sheldon Jeter Jr is continuing in Beaver County Court . Testimony from investigators and experts on Tuesday focused on Jeter’s car and his bedroom as they made their case against Jeter in the murder of his friend and roommate Tyric Pugh on May 15, 2020.

An expert testified that the car, that was processed for evidence after the shooting, had gunshot residue inside of it.
The car was seen on video driving near the murder scene around the time of the shooting.

The second area of focus was Jeter’s bedroom where investigators said they found a gun under his mattress matching the same caliber as the shell casings found at the scene.
There were also boxes of ammo with missing bullets, some, not all of which were the same brand found on the scene.
Jeter’s defense on cross-examination did note that no gunshot residue was found on Jeter’s hand when they tested it a day after the shooting.

They’ve also continued raising questions about the chain of custody of Jeter’s vehicle when it was processed by state police.

The trial continues this week in Beaver County Court.
