(Big Beaver Boro, PA) – Pennsylvania State Police have reported via release that on July 01, 2021 at approximately 08:15 a.m., Robert Genard, a 64 year old man from Greensburg, PA, was operating his Kenworth Northwest Semi along I-76 West during heavy rain. Genard eventually lost control of his vehicle on the wet roadway and crossed the north berm where he struck the embankment, over turned on the trucks right side, and entered both west bound lanes where he then struck the concrete barrier coming to rest facing northeast on its right side. Due to the roadway being blocked, traffic was detoured until the roadway was clear at 10:11 a.m. Mr. Genard was charged with careless driving and refused transport via Medevac Ambulance.
