(Bridgewater Borough, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver reported that someone in Bridgewater Borough received an unknown call from an unknown person who acted as Sergeant Roberts out of the Aliquippa Police Department.

This occurred yesterday at 9:15 a.m. along Boundary Lane and the scammer told the victim that they had warrants out for the person’s arrest and that paying them would erase the “fake” warrants.

According to police, the given badge number and state ID that this scammer used was #448, and you should not give any money or pertinent information to this caller.
