Beaver County Radio News has learned that county commissioner chairwoman Sandie Egley’s secretary – Randi Bick – no longer works for the county. This latest development comes in the wake of allegations by state representative Jim Christiana that Bick attempted to shake down supporters for increased campaign contributions. Commissioners chief of staff Joe Weidner confirmed the news to Beaver County Radio newsman Pat Septak. When asked whether or not she was fired, Weidner said they cannot comment on personnel matters. Meanwhile, district attorney David Lozier tells us that several individuals have made appointments with him in the next couple of days to discuss the matter but he declined to say who they are.
