(Beaver County, PA) The route has been changed for Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 when it comes to Beaver County in July. Union Pacific’s website confirmed that the world’s largest operating steam locomotive will now go up the Beaver River on the Rochester side of the river, which is the east side of the river. The train will not cross the river in New Brighton to Beaver Falls. However, it will continue up the east side of the river before passing through Rock Point near Ellwood City by passing Beaver Falls, Homewood, and Koppel. Then, it will go up the east bank and will cross the river into Wampum before crossing the Beaver River again in its journey to Struthers, Ohio.
