PUB Asks Residents to Conserve Energy During the Heat Wave

With high temperatures and humidity expected around the area over the next several days, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission is asking residents to conserve energy and prepare for a power outage. Energy conservation and cooling ideas from the PUC include turning off non-essential appliances and as many lights as possible; postponing using appliances that produce heat until after 7 p.m.; and spending as much time as possible in rooms that do not receive direct sunlight.
