Police say a man jumping between rooftops of a north Philadelphia apartment building plunged to his death over the weekend. A police spokesman says witnesses told officers just before 2 a.m. Saturday that they were jumping between the rooftops of their apartment after consuming alcohol at an event earlier in the evening. They told officers that the 23-year-old man failed to make a jump and fell two stories, hitting his head on the ground. Witnesses said they found him face-down and unresponsive in a pool of blood. Police said the man was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police say there were no signs of foul play and opened a sudden death investigation.
