Authorities arrived at the Rochester School District’s football field Sunday afternoon after several 911 calls came in near the end of a football game between fifth and sixth grades, with callers saying someone had a gun on school property. Police say they believe the incident happened behind the bleachers, saying two players’ were arguing when one pulled a gun but didn’t shoot. Officials say that although no one was hurt, they don’t know if any of the players witnessed the incident. Police say their investigation is in its early stages, and no one has been arrested or charged in the incident. Authorities are urging anyone who was at Sunday’s afternoon game and has information about the incident to contact police.
