Pittsburgh Ranks Among Top 10 Cities For Worst Traffic

Pittsburgh is among the top 10 cities for the worst traffic, according to a new study done by Forbes magazine. Pittsburgh is ranked the seventh-worst for traffic tie-ups. Researchers say the average driver spends 127 hours per year stuck in traffic. The study also looked at the 10 most congested stretches of road and one busy part of I-376 was among the worst. The stretch on I-376 from I-79 to the Pennsylvania Turnpike was the fifth-worst. The average time a commuter loses by sitting there is 72 hours. The top three worst cities for traffic, respectively, are Boston, Washington, D.C. and Chicago.
