(Philadelphia, PA) Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives will convene in Philadelphia for the first time in 39 years this Wednesday, September 9th. 

This is a session that will not take place at the state Capitol in Harrisburg. 

This is happening because lawmakers are planning to honor the anniversaries of the Declaration of Independence and the Pennsylvania Constitution through the resolutions that celebrate the milestones in the city where they were adopted 250 years ago.

Congress Hall in Philadelphia is where the U.S. Congress met for 10 years, from 1790 to 1800.
