(Harrisburg, PA) Authorities announced on Friday that more than a dozen people were charged, which shut down “a major cocaine trafficking pipeline” from Ohio to western Pennsylvania.
According to the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, thirteen people were charged with felony corrupt organizations, drug trafficking offenses and related crimes after the takedown by multiple agencies, including the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
Investigators stated that seven “upper-level dealers” from Youngstown, Ohio, trafficked cocaine and crack cocaine to Butler County and distributed the drugs to buyers or through intermediaries directly.
Prosecutors confirmed that the dealers based in Butler County were then paid in either cash or drugs.
Attorney General Dave Sunday’s office identified the Ohio dealers as Anthony “Ace” Chilton, Reinaldo Rosado Lizardi, Jumal McQueen, Marquel “Money” Winphrie and Eddie “Ghost” Winphrie.
Two other men from Ohio were charged, but not named because authorities are still searching for them.
Sunday’s office also noted that six other people are also facing charges: Brittany Boring, Mylan Green, Daniel Morehead, Shaddi Shanaa and Donald Vargo and Jason White.
U.S. Marshals are helping with the efforts that are ongoing to take all of those charged into custody.
