(Shaler Township, PA) PennDOT, AAA East Central, and the Shaler Township Police Department hosted a bicycle safety event to promote awareness during National Bicycle Safety Month.

Officials discussed safety tips for both bicyclists and motorists, emphasizing the importance of sharing the road.

The Shaler Township Police Department also promoted its annual bicycle rodeo, scheduled for May 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kiwanis Park. The free community event is designed to educate young riders and their families about bicycle safety.
