PA Dept Of Health Warns Residents Of Significant Increase In Hepatitis A Cases Statewide

Pennsylvania’s Department of Health is warning residents of a significant increase in Hepatitis A cases statewide.  Doctor Rachael Levine says there have been 91 reported cases so far this year, up from the typical 40-to-60 cases the commonwealth hears about.  Hepatitis A is a highly contagious liver infection that can range in severity from a mild infection to a severe disease lasting several months.
