No Tax Increase in Ambridge

(Ambridge, Pa.) Ambridge Council adopted its 2022 budget earlier this week and there will not be a tax increase, according to Borough Manager Mario N. Leone.  Revenues expected are $5,105,930, and millage will remain at 34.5. mills. Leone said  non-union personnel will receive  a 3% increase in wages..

The municipal building will be closed December 24, and 27 for the Christmas holiday, and December 31 for New year’s Council will reorganize at 6:30 p.m. on  January 3, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
Early retirement package for Fire Chief Robert Gottschalk was approved. His retirement will  become effective April 30, 2022.  Assistant  Fire Chief Donnie larrick, Jr. will assum e the duties of  fire chief on May 1, 2022.
