New Street Lights Being Installed in New Sewickley Twp

New street lights are being installed throughout New Sewickley Township. Penn Power plans to replace 58,000 of the township’s current sodium vapor street lights with more cost-efficient LED lights. The sodium vapor bulbs also had to be replaced every two years on average, meaning the new lights will not only be more cost-efficient, they will also allow the workers in charge of replacing the bulbs to work on other projects.
