(Lawrence County, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in New Castle reported yesterday that fifty-nine-year-old Robert Symons of New Castle escaped the scene of a single-vehicle crash in Lawrence County that occurred on Saturday.

Symons was trying to park in the parking lot of the Dollar General on State Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township at 2:55 p.m.

As his vehicle entered the parking stall area, Symons did not stop and then hit a curb with his vehicle. 

According to police, he kept driving onto the sidewalk and hit the side of the building. There were no reported injuries.
