New Brighton man killed in a crash in Darlington Township between him and a driver from Rogers, Ohio

(Darlington Township, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver report that a crash occurred in Darlington Township on Saturday which killed a man from New Brighton that evening. Forty-one-year-old Lorman Frye of Rogers, Ohio was driving south on North State Line Road while seventy-nine-year-old John Harvey was driving north on the same road. Both of them could not see each other. Frye tried to evade to the north side of the road with his vehicle and Harvey tried to swerve to the south side of the road with his motorcycle. A fatal impact was experienced by Harvey and Frye was trapped under his vehicle when it hit an embankment on the north side of the road. Harvey was pronounced dead at the scene and Frye was taken to Saint Elizabeth Youngstown in Youngstown, Ohio for his injuries.
