National Weather Service Issues Wind Chill Advisory For Beaver County

The National Weather Service says a wind chill advisory remains in effect for Beaver County until noon Wednesday. Very cold wind chills are expected – possibly as low as 15 below zero. Frost bite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Emergency officials suggest you wear a hat and gloves if venturing outdoors over the next day or two.
