(Aliquippa, PA) Aliquippa Police are looking for a man from Monaca who is wanted on an active arrest warrant connected to an assault, specifically an incident of domestic violence, that occurred yesterday on Spring Street in Aliquippa. 

Thirty-year-old Matthew Craig is the suspect who is wanted and the investigation alleges that during an altercation, Craig struck a female victim in the face with a metal paint roller, which caused a severe laceration above her eye that required medical attention.  

Craig continued to contact and harass the victim after the incident after knowing that police had been contacted.   

He is currently wanted on charges including Aggravated Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Intimidation of Witnesses or Victims, Simple Assault and Terroristic Threats.  

Officers tried to locate Craig at his residence and they made several attempts to contact him by telephone.  

He did answer a telephone call from an officer.  

However, he did not turn himself in or report to the police department to speak with officers when he was requested.
