(Beaver, PA) Michael Baker International senior officials recently cut a ribbon for a new “Michael Baker Corner” exhibit at the Beaver Area Heritage Museum in the hometown of that company’s founder, the late Michael Baker Jr.
This permanent display is developed to mark the company’s 85th anniversary.
It is 10 feet high by eight feet wide and it shows 30 historical images and related text that documents the rags-to-riches story of Baker, photographs of employees, its headquarters building in Beaver from the early 1970s to the early 1990s, and a host of international and local projects which propelled Baker into a giant of engineering.
