(Homewood Borough, PA) Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver reported yesterday that twenty-one-year-old Alina Chau of Potomac, Maryland was charged after a two-vehicle crash occurred in Homewood Borough on August 21st.

According to police, Chau was turning right onto State Route 18 off from First Avenue in a section of a construction zone in Homewood Borough at 6:49 p.m., and she did not clear the intersection before fully turning right.

Twenty-three-year-old Vincent Sibeto of New Castle tried to brake when he realized that Chau turned into his lane of travel and failed.

There were no reported injuries.
