An inmate at the Lawrence County Jail is accused of threatening to kill the child of a police officer. The Lawrence County District Attorney’s office said they received the complaint last week that 32-year-old Torry Argiro made the threat against the child during a phone call with another person made from the jail. Argiro, who was already being held in the jail on unrelated charges, is now charged with terroristic threats as well as intimidation of witnesses and/or victims.
