(Aliquippa, PA) Aliquippa firefighters were dispatched to a home on Major Street around 3:30 a.m. today after a caller reported it was on fire.
When crews arrived, they encountered heavy fire coming from the structure, which extended through the roof. Fire officials said nearby exposures were at risk of being affected by the flames.
Firefighters used a deck gun and multiple hand lines to bring the fire under control and protect surrounding properties.
Once the fire was knocked down, crews were able to enter the structure to continue operations. Fire departments cleared the scene shortly before 7 a.m.
