A Hopewell Township home located at 2073 Brodhead Rd. was destroyed by fire last night, according to Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano, who spoke with responding firefighters .who reported that the home was a total loss. The home was located in the area where several businesses are located , and sources said a woman died in a fire there several years ago. The fire was fully involved when firefighters responded at 5:53. p.m.  The home was located next to a gym.  Firefighters said they remained at the scene until 8:30p.m. Firefighters from Aliquippa, Independence Township, assisted Hopewell. Rochester was on stand by and Conway Volunteer Fire Department ‘s Rehab unit supplied a warm tent with coffee and food for the firefighters.
