(Georgetown Borough, Beaver County, Pa.) Fire crews were called to the scene of a vacant historic frame home Saturday afternoon in Georgetown, Beaver County. The  Hookstown Fire Department was called out at  2:48 p.m. to the fire on Market Street according to Fire Chief  Doug Waxler.  Waxler said  that the home was destroyed by the massive fire and the garage of the home was being used to restore a vehicle by a resident. Thankfully no one was in the home  when the fire started. The home was one of three historic homes in the borough. Several tanker trucks had to be brought in to supply water due to the lack of hydrants in the borough, at least twelve departments responded including three from West Virginia, Chief Waxler said.
