A proposal to put new restrictions on abortion in the state appears headed to a final House vote next week after lawmakers voted down a Democrat-led effort to delay the proposal for two months. The measure would prohibit elective abortions after 20 weeks, four weeks earlier than current law. Governor Tom Wolf has already threatened a veto of the measure.
