General Motors In Talks With Potential Buyer For Lordstown Assembly Plant

General Motors is in talks with a potential buyer for its shuttered Lordstown Assembly Plant. The automaker confirmed yesterday that Cincinnati-based Workhorse wants to buy the facility to produce a line of electric trucks. State and local officials say, however, it’s not a done deal, because it’s dependent on a vehicle order from the U.S. Postal Service and lawsuit by the United Auto Workers.
