A fundraiser is being held next month to benefit a Beaver County charity focused on helping the homeless. The Cornerstone of Beaver County is holding its Party With A Purpose October 5th at the Rochester V-F-W in the 100-block of Virginia Avenue. The event helps Cornerstone provide emergency housing, along with other resources to those in Beaver County who are at risk of becoming homeless. Officials with Cornerstone say they help more than 385 people a month.
