(East Rochester, Pa) Local residents were caught by surprise when the Long John Silver’s along Route 65 was demolished earlier this week.

The company intends on building a brand new restaurant at the site and the closure is only temporary.

Laura Ellis, Chief Marketing Officer for Long John Silver’s, told Beaver County Radio “The restaurant is being rebuilt with Long John Silver’s modern design, which will include updated features aimed at enhancing the guest experience”.

The company didn’t specify an official reopening date but says “We look forward to welcoming guests back once construction is complete”.

They also thanked the community for their patience during the project and encourages everyone to “stay tuned for a fresh catch on the horizon”.
