(Freedom, PA) The Freedom Area School District experienced another bomb threat.
This threat was emailed to its high school principal this morning.
This is the third bomb threat this district has received in as many weeks, because the second one happened yesterday, and the first one happened on August 31st.
According to a recent letter from Freedom Superintendent Jeff Beltz, law enforcement authorities have already been notified, and will complete a search and sweep of the high school.
Beltz also confirmed that the other two buildings will operate on a regular schedule today with an added police presence and if families are picking up a student, they have to enter the campus and turn onto Thorne Street immediately before parking into the big parking lots. Then, families need to have identification available and will have to walk to the school for procedures of dismissal.
